Visit the AMD website (link below) and under Technical & Support Resources
column, check out Processors.  AMD has a special section there called "AMD
Athlon(tm) XP Recommended Motherboards."  I found this very informative.
They cover all the AMD cpu's and zeroes in on particular AMD cpu
models/motherboard compatabilities.   There are several choices of mobos
based on your XP 2500+ chip.  Good luck!
