HI,

I really don't think you have a choice in replacing it with a different
type unless you change the main board and the chipset also. Might as
well buy a new system.

The recommendation would be to go to 256M minimum and preferredly to
512M

Rambus memory is still expensive, and usually has to be done in pairs.
Dell may have it so pairs is not necessary, not up an all dell stuff.
If you buy it from dell you'll pay through the nose.

Try and get the dell part number for an upgrade, and their cost. Then
shop that part number
With 3rd party vendors like: Kingston, PNY, Crucible, www.buymemory.com
, and see if you can better the price.

Thanks and have a Great Day!

Subject: [PCBUILD] RDRAM orANYdram

I have a DELL Dimension XPS B933 with 128MB of RDRAM. I need a
recommendation for a memory upgrade: to replace it with a different type
or stay with RDRAM but just get moer of it?
