It really isn't necessary to go to all this trouble, right click on the My
Computer Icon on your desktop and select properties, it will say either
Windows 98 or Windows 98 Second Edition. It will also tell you your install
CD key number.

Windows 98SE is version 4.10.2222(B)        I believe the "B" designation is
for the Plus pack.
