Colors being accurate is a problem with all monitors, LCD or CRT. They have programs to calibrate your monitor with actual photo colors.  Displaymate.com and ezcolor (monacosystems.com).  If you are doing exacting professional work you will need to buy one of these (there may be others) well known ones to calibrate any monitor you buy with your scanner and/or printer.
