I want to thank all who replied to my RAS question. The one thing that nobody mentioned
 
was THAT THE TROJAN ATTACKS THE CMOS !!!!!!!! I learned that from a friend of mine.
 
You must disconnect power cord, remove battery, use "clear cmos jumper " wait about
 
a minute, then reverse the procedure. Power up INTO SETUP and set your preferences.
 
DO NOT FORGET TO RESET THE CLOCK ( mine went back to 2001 !!)
