WPA-Win-XP-PRO-OEM-(bought with parts) In use since 3/02.

I'm getting ready to "break the camels back" by adding more RAM (on top
of other changes I made recently...)

IF adding more RAM triggers WPA, can I "just" remove the RAM,
or is the system locked down -- and I am forced to re-activate?

Re-activating is not a problem, and I only have activated once so far.
If I am expecting it, I will pick a time convenient... (System install is legal.)

I need to test the RAM while I can still return it, but...
I'm waiting till I Image the system (37G, again) as a backup before I install
XP-SP1. (I know SP1 will give a three day grace period once it decides
you need to "call in"...)

Anybody experienced in triggering a legal machine's WPA?
(I'm only interested in what will happen - not faking it, or forcing it to work...)
