Update. ADMtek 983B Ethernet cards, Hub, Win98

With TCP/IP protocol, show icons for both computers in Network
Neighborhood on one computer, but not on other, depending on which
computer starts first.

Tried adding NetBUEI; same results.

Deleted TCP/IP protocol; icons for both computers show on each computer.

With advice from list NetBEUI should work with TCP/IP protocol installed,
reinstalled TCP/IP; same negative results as before deleted TCP/IP.

Network Neighborhood, Find Computer, same results as icons display in
Network Neighborhood.

Using NetBEUI, TCP/IP protocol removed, trying to move two folders from
one computer to other, get error message

"Cannot move 011: Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is
not currently in use."

Target disk (drive) is not full, folders are not write-protected, and
folders are not in use. Target disk has three partitions. Target drive
(partition) is very large, C drive (partition), target disk, free space
is smaller than either folder. That a problem? Moved other files to
target drive (partition) without problem. Rebooting and retrying didn't
help.
