If it were my small peer-to-peer network I would use only the NetBEUI
protocol. I would remove IPX and TCP/IP unless there is a special need for
them. Most importantly, I would make sure that all machines are in the same
"workgroup". Remember that W2000 is really NT5 and will require
authentication before its resources can be accessed. In a secure
environment you would disable the GUEST account and create an account for
each user [W9x computer]. You would be using NTFS instead of FAT. You
would then assign access permissions to your shared resources on the W2000
computer. If you're not concerned with security, you can bypass the need to
set up user accounts and permissions by leaving the GUEST account enabled.

You haven't said whether you are using FAT or NTFS. Since you have IPX
loaded and can see the W98 PCs but the W98 PCs can't see the W2000 - it
sounds like the W2000 might be in a different workgroup or your IPX frame
type isn't the same on all of the PCs. Also, maybe the TCP/IP experts can
comment here but I know you are discouraged from using a zero address as you
have in your non-routable IP of 192.168.0.11 ...you can bypass a lot of
headache by simply using NetBEUI on all of the computers.
