Do you have access to another computer with another CD drive in it? Try the
'bad Cd' in another computer.

Some newer drives may have issues with older CDs. I've seen this happen. The
behavior you report of the CD's light blinking leads me to believe that, at
least, that particular drive can't read that CD.

But others still might be able to access it.
