We are trying to re-install a Xerox DWC250 multi-function device onto a Win98
workstation.  The original drivers were for Win3.1 or Win95.  We have
downloaded updated drivers.  However, each time we try to connect the serial
cable from the DWC250 to the serial port of the workstation, the workstation
freezes.  On re-boot, it will hang at the Win98 splash screen until we
disconnect the serial cable.  Any ideas about the source of the problem or
the solution?
