Hey Robert....
All you have to do is "drag and drop" them from the CD(in "file manager) to
the folder you want in OE....

Yes, but my concern was how to get those archived messages back into the
original location, hopefully in their original folders.

I was assuming the user would only temporarily want to retrieve or inspect
these archived emails.

After this had been done it would seem logical to reset the message store
location to it's original address.
