    That number is a SERIAL NUMBER generated by software when you formated
the partition., it is NOT a hard disk related number.

Yes, you can change it, just look for a serial.bat file in the internet.

Good day.

While chkdsk it indicate volume number (I suppose HDD ID number) and then
details of HDD contents.

Is there a way to modify this numbers.
If so, how ?
