Ok i have lots of prolbems the first one people tell me is the fact we sold the parts back in june for my old 500 MHZ 128 Meg 28 Gb hd computer to get a 200MHZ 128 MB 2 Gb hd..

Anyways the system problems are as follows:

Windows cannot start unless i either do safe mode, or step by step confirmation.. and in which not load either config.sys or autoexec.bat or if i do.. not to let anything with my CD drivers load.

Also, the master boot record has been modified behind my back, possibly by windows blaming it on a virus and in fact it may be itself.. but it could be a virus knowing how much crap dad and i download.

This all started when my CD-writer would NOT show up when i wanted to burn a cd sunday morning...
and suddenly it all went downhill from there.

.. i did attempt to install a 'fake' cd drive in case it'd show up.. but that doesn't even show up.
maybe that was it?
