I installed an Optical Mouse and later formatted the hard drive, installed
Windows and of course the mouse no longer worked during the installation
process. I hot swapped the MS mouse.
Nothing worked properly
Preparatory to formatting I had copied to C drive to the D partition. I re
formatted and copied the os on the D drive and it would work
One guru said that I had not ruined my mo board...only the mouse
portion...to disable it and enable the PS 2 mouse. I found no way to
disable it but the Bios had an enabling feature...already enabled.

Please shed some light on my predicament
