A friend has just bought a new Dell computer plus an A940
Dell All-in-One Printer, which works well.

He also has a Windows 98 machine and wanted to use the
printer on that as well but got the message the printer
didn't support the operating system.

Does that mean these new Dell printers will only operate
with WindowsXP?

Is there any way round this?

Doesn't this have implications when buying a Dell printer
for use on a mixed machine network?

Regards

Tony
