I noticed a difference in the clarity of my monitor
when I upgraded my computer and got a motherboard that
had support for an AGP video card, but if your board
can only support a PCI video card you will not notice
much of a difference from the onboard card. The only
thing is that you won't be sharing memory anymore so
you will get that little bit of RAM back. If that is
enough to justify spending the money for a new PCI
video card then go ahead. I always hesitated from
doing that until I upgraded my system and was able to
put in an AGP video card.
