I'm trying to buy parts this weekend to build a new computer for my business.I used to build several but it's been a few years so I'm not up on the latest technology.I use to use AMD processors and they always worked fine for me but these days there are several more types.I always believed in getting a quality motherboard.
I'm only building the box since I have a monitor and other components.
I would like your advice for a case, motherboard, cpu and ram.I'd like to keep it under $500.I don't need the fastest thing out there and I don't game.I would also like to get Windows XP in that price. An upgrade home version will work for my needs.
Thanks,
Mike Bridges
