Looking for comments on PCI audio cards which **work** and have
**HARDWARE** wavetable & support DLS.

Recent attempts to use a PCI card, ATrend Yamaha 724, on new systems
has found they don't work with WIN98/DirectX. Another PCI card from HiVal
made noise, but thats about it.

Based on this I don't think PCI audio is ready, or the cards I run accross are
not ready. So I am looking for comments on OEM boards which work.

Specifically looking for cards which:

1) HARDWARE Wavetable
2) DLS Support
3) SPDIF Input & Output
4) WIN98 & Direct X Compatible
5) Support USB Digital Audio

Comments on AcerOpen Yamaha724 based PCI cards?

Compatible with our most used motherboard, Soyo 5EHM?
