I appreciate all the input.  The responses have been correct in that my mobo
pre-dates 100mhz FSB and mixing the PC100 and 66mhz ram is probably the
culprit.  Although I didn't try just the PC100 by itself, I probably should
have.

In any case, I did return the PC100 and got the 66mhz sdram and now it's up
to 64mb.
