Hi Mark,
I have been perusing the Epson site and looking at my Printer
Troubleshooting Pocket Reference and everything I have read points to it
being a software or driver problem. It seems that the application is what
determines the media to be fed. This is how it reads for printers having
multiple trays and the printer being unable to choose the correct media,
that it is not set up correctly in the application. I am not a printer
expert, just was looking around and trying to help. Hope it does.

Does anyone know how a Epson Action Laser 1000 or 1500 determines paper
size.
I know how the printer tells if there is paper in the feeder but I can't
find any sensor on the sizing bars.
I am having a problem with it differentiating between a document and a
envelope and I am attempting to troubleshoot it.

thanks
Mark Rode
