I find that I tend to run Scandisk towards the end of the day, after
opening and closing many programs during the day.  Often, it will keep
resetting.

What I have found is if I do a hard re-boot.  Shut the system off,
wait 10 seconds and then restart, and THEN run Scandisk before
anything has opened.  It runs like a charm by itself.
