Can someone explain how the slockets with jumpers work? I have an
Abit BH6 1.0(with latest SS bios). I got an Abit Slocket!!! for the
celeron 566, which I am running at 850mhz. My bios only allows for
1.7 Vcore with this chip. The slocket has jumpers for voltages
beyond this, but setting them seems to have no effect, i.e., the bios
still only allow the 1.7 max(at least this is what it shows). The
BH6 does have greater Vcores, since it allows up to 2.3 I believe for
the older celerons. I have searched the net, but have found no
explanation for the jumpers on the slocket, for Vcores or FSBs. Any
help appreciated.
