 After replacing the battery it still would not complete the boot up and the
keyboard would not work.  It is a USB key board and works fine on my other
machine so I had an older keyboard with the large ps plug and it got me
"over" the problem now it boots up fine and the USB keyboard is back in
action.  Thank you all for your help.
