Have you had your thyroid checked?  A good doc will test for free t3 and free t4 as well as antibodies.  A TSH over 2 with symptoms should be suspect despite 2 bein well within the "normal" range.  I fell like hell if my TSH goes over 1.  We're all individual and the best docs only use tests as a guide but relief of symptoms is most important.  Many with classic hypothyroid symptoms have "normal" tests and a short trial of natural thyroid such as Armour often yeilds terrific improvement. The two best books on this subject are the classic, Hypothyroidism: The Unsuspected Illness by the late great Broda Barnes MD and the newest classic, Type II Hypothyroidism by Mark Starr MD.
