Has anyone noticed that high fat consumption affects mood? I seem to be
more mellow and content if I consume high amounts of fat over a long period.

I've just found this studies result:

A high fat/high protein diet was studied in healthy men over an eight week
period. This diet (7% carb, 28% protein and 65% fat) was found to negatively
impact both total and free Testosterone levels (-21.7% and 23.3%
respectively) for eight hours after eating a fat rich meal (16).

Since I assume high T_levels are healthy (or am I wrong) it seems that high
fat diet may not be that good for men.

I also went through book called "Grow young with HGH" or similar and it said
that high fat diet interfers with Growth Hormone production.
