Eaters of the raw paleodiet ignore cavities, they seem to never get worse.
Since I can't find enough paleo quality food to eat only raw, I had them
filled.

Well, this subject interests me immensely since I also have some current dental problems. I must say, though, that, even though I am not currently a total Paleo, I have successfully ignored a cavity and it eventually quit bothering me. However, I have just developed another, right next to the old one, and it is very sensitive, and I've been wondering whether I want to do something about it or not. I'm leaning towards "not", lol. BUT, I do have a black spot on one of my front teeth (probably from smoking, sigh), which I WILL do something about, not wanting to look "low-lifey", and I, too, have the same question as Debby as to what to ask for. I already knew the mercury-fillings were out of the question, but what are the alternatives?? I've read something on this before, but I forget the specifics. (Even though this is sort of off-topic, it kind of is relevant since we use our teeth to EAT, right???;)

  Love,
  Bren
