I have been a lurker on this list for some time. While I fully believe and have benefited from a Paleo WOE, I am far from being true Paleo as some on this list are. I have been eating standard red meats that we buy from a butcher or supermarket. I am sure it is all grain fed or finished, and certainly not organic or hormone free. Understanding that the red meat I am eating is certainly different than (and not as good as) pasture fed beef, can one still derive the the health benefits of the Paleo WOE by consuming it?

I am also concerned, among other things, about hormonal changes one can experience by consuming "regular" beef. Can injesting this beef cause hormonal changes in men? I was told (not by such a reliable source) that too much saturated fat from beef can increase estrogen levels in men. I am a 41
year old male and only 10-15 pound
