They are weird ,they eat all raw ! The place is really happenning
permaculture an infrastructure wise . lot of foods is produced there ,
all the energy is solar,
communauty and human wise it is a struggle . I know manis the personn who
started that place and he had hard time to find comited peoples to the
project , there has been lot of peoples transiting thru it . So the ambiance
could have been very different depending of the group of peoples there.
Since i went there 3 winters ago, things are starting to happen at this
level too. a core of long term resident is established now . No children yet
.
The low down for us was that it was a group of single peoples with good
intents toward welcoming children but with little clues about what it means
to be a parent or a family.... so a tribe ?
if it was only up to me . i will be there at least half of the year. I was
up for the adventure of recreating a tribal living , because as an europeen
raised in a big family , i found the social organisation of north america
even more insane. Every household a part from each other with little more
communication means than a checkbook , a car , a phone and a computer.
at first when i moved here i would have rather biked to the other side of
the island to ask a question directly to a personn than to take the phone.
Since then i got domesticated i even started the computer thing 2 years ago
so i could be in contact with the friends that could not have their phone
line
available anymore. and to meet new friends.( too bad that they live on the
other side of the planet)
In france i was born and raised in a small village then a small town and as
children , we had fun playing together in the streets and fields ( parents
didn't know what we were doing all day long)
Here i am sorry for my son when i have to drive to see an other child with
who he can play.
