In a documentary I saw about the guy he had lots of acupuncture marks
(accompanied by some sort of moxabustion) on his back as well -- the doctors
who examined said he had a bad back - arthritic I suppose. I didn't say he
didn't eat meat -- just that one report said he ate a MAINLY vegetarian diet.
As a neolithic this was probably normal.
