The key words here are "paid for by the state"....his system
has probably adapted to the 3 times a week. My DH is a
paraplegic (since '74) and his system is accustomed to a
daily bowel program. He doesn't have an attendant since his
injury level is mid chest. The occasional times when he
needs assistance, I take care of it.
