Meat puree can go first, I think. It is bland and not likely to be
rejected. Any soft, mushy cooked veggie can go too. Carrots for
example. Most of the commercial baby foods have filler made from wheat,
salt, etc. I might avoid them except in emergencies. We used our ice
cube tray to make perfect one meal portions of home made baby food, and
froze them for future use. It was easy to take a few cubes out and make
a variety of meals, and you can stock up well in advance so there is
little prep time before the meal, just take it out and let it thaw. In
a bag in the freezer they stayed fresh.
