My feeling is that paleo eating IS right for anyone with diabetes in
their
family. I don't know if it is right for everyone. I have friends who
are
long-term vegetarians, and even vegan (with occasional lapses) who
appear
to be in the best of health. I had arthritis, hypoglycemia, celiac
disease, uncontrolled
appetite plus weight gain/obesity, fatigue, muscle and joint aches,
and depression on a vegetarian diet. Clearly not right for me. Even my

arthritis symptoms have eased lately; I'm able to walk without pain for
the
first time in 5 years, although standing for periods of time is still
painful to me.
