Not only that, but fish oils have w-3 in the form of EPA.

The advantage of this is that it doesn't need to be converted from ALA into EPA.
That conversion uses an enzyme that is also used to covert LA into GLA, and so
the w-3 in the above seeds "competes" for the enzyme with the LA->GLA
conversion.

Since GLA is needed in your body to make many beneficial prostaglandins, then it
is better to eat cold-water fish (or take fish oil capsules).

PS  Some wild game animals are also reputed to be good sources of EPA...
