Jean -Claude, you are a cornucopia of cornucopia! As a matter of paleo, I surmise that the typical hunter gatherer who saw a head of something like cabbage floating along in the (THEN, but perhaps not now) unpolluted sea would have grabbed that sucker and taken a big bite before taking it home to Mom and the kids.  You are a gift to this list. rick


one day while kayaking ,i found a head of cabbage floating on the sea , it
was not pickled nor really raw anymore as the salt started to penetrate .it
was tasty eating .
i also found apples floating that way .
