Hi Mel,

>I've been on the paleo diet for 7 months and lost 35lb (2.7st), but I've
>not had a period for 6 months.

When I was about 17, I went on the Sophia Loren 7 day diet for a couple of
months and lost about 30 pounds too. It was a pretty good diet for those
days and Sophia Loren looks very good even now. However I lost my period
too for 6 years! Now, I was eating some grains on her diet and lately found
out I have had celiac disease all my life so grains were my problem. None
the less, perhaps the difference in weight and thus metabolism has
temporarily stopped your period.
Strangely enough, I restarted my period when I fell in love with my husband
to be. The doctor said that is what I needed obviously. Also I was living
in South America where the food was better.
Eating paleo has regulated my periods to a 28 day cycle for the first time
in my life.
So keep eating paleo and everything will work out.

Paleobest,
Susan
