Interesting. A personal anecdote, my wife uses vinegar directly on lots
of foods, especially deep fried foods. Vinegar is pretty common in
Japanese dishes. In her last check-up her HDL was very high, and other
markers good. She doesn't eat much junk food but otherwise eats a
standard diet, lots of milk and bread and other carbs. I worry about it
because her mom has diabetes, but it hasn't shown up yet in her blood
work.
