At my older son's school, many of the teachers are in various degrees of
illness, his teacher is going to have her gall bladder taken out, she also
has diabetes, then she told me of all the other staff who are missing gall
bladders! I was amazed.

The secretary had breast cancer and just now had a double bypass, she's in
her late forties.

The principal had to leave as she got Parkinsons, again in late forties.
(The last time I saw her she was guzzling a can of Diet Coke....)

Is all of America as sick as this? And this is only a partial list, almost
all the teachers /staff are in varying states of obesity....

Why all the gall bladders, would that be from the low fat craze?

ps I forgot the new principal's husband has leukemia and just had a ton of
chemo/radiation.

Any mention there of paleo/vax etc is met with riotous laughter/scorn, but
at least I have tried to help! even if no one will listen. In fact I gave
the art teacher a copy of Ray's book last year. It's not as though I haven't
tried.
