Nature did not intend us to live to the ripe old age we are capable of
living.

The only proven way to live longer is to eat a low calorie diet. Paleo will
not make you live longer.

If you are not willing to live on a low calorie diet, then you need to
realize that eating and diet is all about quality of life. Perhaps you will
not live longer but you will live a high quality life as free as possible
from cancer, diabetes, CHD, etc.

And for women, menopause may be natural, but so death is natural. That does
not mean, IMHO, that you should not try to bypass it or improve upon it.

I do not live in the wilds, I live in the city. I forage in the supermarket.
I am happy that way. I use modernity to improve my quality of life. Were I
female, I would do what I felt I needed to do, to make menopause better and
easier. I would use natural progesterone cream. I have researched it and
feel that this can increase bone mass, improve mood, reduce problems with
sleeplessness. Perhaps not for all women, but for some.
