oh, do you have references for that because it is my case i had allways
weight loss with high calorie intake ,but i allways attribuated that to not
having cortisol secreted , so i thought it was why i had hard time to
 assimilate the food eaten.
In general my hypothyroidy never showed up with the expected symptoms read
in medicals books ( like loss of appetite or weight gain...) but i thought
that the symptoms of adrenal failure were masking them.
I had , the intuitive thought , in the past that my weight loss was related
to my overeating and things will get better if i could stop myself better
and eat less. now with higher meat and animal fats intake , it is happening
i eat less and gain weight.( with the same amount of thyroxine)

Jean-Claude,

I have no formal reference for that. Only what I've heard and only what I've
seen from my daughter, who was wasting away before I put her on thyroid
medication. I'm sure the adrenals play a big role in this weight loss as well.
