I like to put pork in the slow cooker with a jar of salsa verde on LOW for
about 8 hours. If it's the right season, a small fresh pumpkin peeled and
diced is a very nice addition. To make sure it's juicy, shred the meat
right in the slow cooker and mix it in with all the juices and let it simmer
together for 15 minutes while you prepare a side dish. This is one of the
only slow cooker things I like to make...most other things just end up
tasting like "crock pot" to me.
