All fats can be stored if properly rendered. I occasionally stir fry my
veggies with bacon fat. Some one was just talking about all the deer in
Michigan. Maybe I should relocate. Deer in Texas are the size of dogs. If I
owned land there and some activist tried to stop me from hunting on my land,
I'd shoot them too!

Thanks Michael, I do love olives, and I do enjoy a little olive oil
on salads as well. Reminds me of when we lived in Greece, olive oil
over everything =o] Which kind of fat is safe to store? For example,
bacon fat? or beef fat? I would chicken fat would be a no no. I remember
my grandmother having a jar filled with bacon fat. But growing up, my
mother always threw it out.
Thanks,
Trish
