As someone who has the beginnings of blood sugar problems (diabetes runs
through my mother' family), I took the advise in the book and donated blood.
I do feel better, not as tired.  Unfortunately, ther blood bank only allows
donations every 8 weeks, so this is going to take awhile.  When the nurse
gave me a preliminary blood test for iron content (dropping the blood into a
solution) it sunk like a rock, indicating high iron levels.

What is the relationship between blood sugar and iron levels?
