Ken > I've found that it is hardest to get relatives and close friends to listen about anything.

Man, is that the truth! I'm still working really hard on them, though. My wife and eight month old daughter are paleo. And this week, after hearing that I'd converted his favorite uncle Mark (my 24 year old kid brother), my oldest son, a 9 year old, announces that he's "giving up wheat." He was successful for three days before succumbing to the temptations of macaroni and cheese last night. My pressure on them has been nil; I just keep telling them the facts and let them choose to follow or not.

I found out two weeks ago that my mother found blood in her stool. They suspected colon cancer -- but a colonoscopy came back negative. I immediately jumped on her to try the purist version of the Eades' plan. She seemed open to the idea and promised to do so, but I don't believe she has. I believe that we all have, if not full blow Celiac, at least gluten intolerance.
