My 4 year old son buy them as a treat when we do shopping he just love them
raw whole .( the idea came from him, we never buy sweet potatoe or yam )
when you try raw sweet potatoes and your body is already overloaded with
them because eaten without instinctive regulation ( because cooked) you
experience the "instinctive stop" of the swet potatoe and it is not
appealling . wean your self from cooked ones ( it can take years of being
weaned like it did to me with normal potatoes) and you will open yourself to
the possibility of experiencing the "luminous phase" of the sweet potatoe .
( the other end of the spectrum of possible tastes that one can experience
with sweet potatoe )
