I find retrospective studies useless. There are biased. They only ask and
categorize answers to show what they are trying to show. For example, I
suspect the city people are now eating more French Fries with hydrogenated
fats, as FF would only be found in Chinese cities with Western fast food
outlets. But I doubt this was a question. (And French Fry consumption would
be correlated with meat consumption.)
