Once again I posted without making my point perfectly
clear. I asked what the necessity for oil would be in
a Paleo diet. Let me rephrase:

I understand the role of FAT in a paleo diet. However,
I do not understand what is the significance of
"liquid at-room-temperature-extracted-from-vegetables"
OIL.

I can only come up with one reason myself, and that is
the cooking of "neolithic-type" foods. Animal fat
would have been used prior to that, right?
