What is your definition of "real fast"? My American Heritage Dictionary
defines it as:
"To abstain from eating all or certain foods" No time frame given.

What are the benefits of fasting as you see them? When do they begin to
take effect? 1 day, 2 days? A week? Is there an 'optimal' fasting
time? Certainly a pointer to a few studies supporting your statement
shouldn't be too much to ask. Really shouldn't take you much longer than
typing in 'yahoo.com'
