 I also have had the same experience with the flu and I only get it once
every 2-5 years. Cuts seem to heal faster too.

Hopefully, I'm not speaking too soon here!  A vegetarian friend of mine,
Micheal, and I both got the flu at the same time.  In me, it never got
so bad as to have to stay in bed (although I had a mild fever, coughing
and congestion, and several other little problems).  In Micheal, he was
in bed for four days!  I seem to be basically recovered, he's up and
mobile, but still looks rather bad.  My fights with infection have been
going more my way since the paleo diet.  I think that the differences we
experienced have a lot to do with the diets we are on.

If you need C, try strawberries or kiwi.  They have a LOT of it.
