My kids both loved sour foods right off. Started giving them sour orange and
even lemon slices which they gummed to death. Before they had teeth we were
giving them whole apples to gnaw on.

We also pureed meat, veggies, whatever and poured the mix into ice cube
trays and froze it. Then bagged a lot so we had ready to eat foods for them.
Very easy and convenient.
