I believe tahini more accurately describes sesame paste, which is used to
make the chickpea spread (humus).  You may find some varieties are
adulterated with other ingredients, but pure sesame tahini is easy to find in
a good health store. It's really yummy even if the amount of processing
involved probably eliminates it as truly paleo.
